The available records vary by place, period and family branch. Before we begin, we check which registers and other archival records survive for your family.

Land and property registers, manorial surveys and other estate records.
Inhabitants
Censuses, population lists and historical lists of manorial subjects.

Military records, chronicles, maps, newspapers, emigration records and other collections relevant to your family.
How far back can we go?
For many Czech families, parish registers lead back to the 17th century. The precise limit depends on the place, period and survival of records.
Where records survive, we can continue through land registers, manorial surveys, tax records and historical population lists.
One branch may reach well into the 17th century, while another has its earliest surviving record much later.
